Green Energy Watch was founded by 26 year old, Ben Polis after a conversation about global warming with his friends. He realized that the general public was being inundated with information about global warming, but no one was doing anything about it! He thought to him self the general public gets it! So why haven’t they done anything about it? He concluded that there was no call to action for the general public. His research indicated that people had leant about global warming through radio, TV programs, TV News, Newspaper and Direct mail.
Ben Polis concluded that the information given is impractical and would need a massive change in social behavior. Green Energy Watch’s purpose is to highlight the factors involved in an easy to understand format and provide a vehicle for the general public to “take action and reduce greenhouse gases” all in one easy and quick process.
Green Energy Watch’s purpose is to bridge the gap between government awareness campaigns on global warming and the ways in which we can all reduce greenhouse gases in a practical and inexpensive way!
